three wheeling it
So I’m watching my wife back out of the driveway in her 991.2CS and as she is backing out at an angle to avoid scraping I notice the passenger side wheel is elevated approximately six inches above the ground. I never noticed it happening on the 997.1 or 991.1. Anyone noticed this occurring with your car?

My wife pulling in or out at an angle to avoid scraping? Never.
As far as wheel lifting - not yet. We have a .1 will experiment.

That's a stiff chassis right there! Your wife must make the car feel pretty happy....

Drifting
Every single day that I drive my 991. Coming home I angle into my uphill driveway, then crank hard to the right to stay aligned on the driveway. Since I'm the only driver (wife doesn't know "this one" has an Automatic mode that she could drive), I never see it but feel the right rear come well off the ground and stay that way till I get straightened out and it settles back down. One stiff chassis.
I've lived here since 2003 and had to enter the driveway the same with all my Porsches. No 996, Turbo, 997, or 986 that Ive had has lifted like that.

I wonder if this is caused by a combination of things? Stiff chassis, stiff springs causing one side going up a hill being able to lift the car and low downward suspension travel.
Does the back of the car do this too?
This gives me an idea. How much of a rise does one side have to experience before the other side comes off the ground? Maybe keeping a small ramp in the trunk instead of a jack can be used to fix a flat.

My 997 cab's drivers side window sometimes goes down just a little (like when you first pull the door handle) when I go over the curb on my driveway. Guess the frame twists enough for the sensor to trigger the window.

chassis' are much strong now, my old Saab 900 SPG if you opened the doors and raised it on a lift you could not close the doors due to the flex in the chassis

Happened on my 997.1, 997.2, and still happens on my 991.1 every time I come and go from home. I don't hear or feel any twists/complaints from the body in any of them so its clear we have nice stiff chassis on these. Only the front wheel flies, I don't think the opposite back ever has due to the weight back there.
The only oddity you might occasionally hear is when I touch the brakes when backing out that way and the ABS kicks in for a moment on the floating wheel.
