You'd think by 2017, Porsche would be through the defective airbags. Hard to believe they continue to install defective inflators in newly produced cars. I wonder if they have replacement parts.

I had my car at the dealer a couple of weeks ago and they told me about this recall and performed the work. At that time I looked up my VIN on recall.porsche.com, but my VIN came up clean. The dealer said the recall was just beginning and were not surprised. Oh, and my VIN starts with WP0AB2A9.

Had my car in a couple of months ago for a firmware update and that recall came up for my car but they did not have the parts. One year service is coming up soon so will have it done then. Also got the recall notice in the mail yesterday.

Also got that recall in the mail but the dealer still does not have parts.... Sort of weird.

Hmmm. Now an added airbag recall? Will have to check my VIN but I got one of the first 2017 911.2 C2s models in my area. Looks like the one year service may be extensive recall work.....if they have the parts!
