This recall is dated January

The second link (above) is the repair procedure for the 718/718S. The same 718 procedure is shown for the Carrera models so, not sure exactly what the repair procedure will be for the 911s, but it looks to me like the engine needs to drop down enough to reach the affected part.

The recall refers to the particular number of vehicles affected. The recall is dated January. You'd think that Porsche would have reported the affected VINs at that time, so if your VIN isn't listed you probably aren't affected.

Brought my car in last week - they are holding it over the weekend. I brought up the possible recall after reading about it on this forum.
I'm told the recall does not impact my particular vin. Though I can't imagine why the interior of my car would smell of gasoline.
I will report the results when I get the car back next week!

I heard rumors about this from German friends in early February. The very first German recall repairs started after week number 8, 2017 (end of February) due to the fact that the replacement parts were not readily available.
A check with my VIN on the NHTSA website did not show any recall and still doesn't!!
To my surprise, Porsche USA has my vehicle listed under the AH01 recall...

No worries - Porsche will fix it.
And in the mean time take a page out of the 991.1 GT3 handbook - drive the car as much as possible, if it burns up you'll get money or a new one!

There are currently no open recalls for this vehicle.
Well let them check it out - surely they will find something.

Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production:
Implementation of improved fastening screws for the fuel collection pipes were introduced into production in May 2016, as a precautionary measure, despite our belief that the failure was deemed to be an isolated incident that occurred on a vehicle subjected to racetrack conditions.
