This came with SPASM cars and it does look much better! one of the first things I did to my Cab. These were not an option for Cabs but easily bolt on the same.

Looks good! I have one on my car as well, and enjoy it every time I see it, however I do get the occasional driveway rub if I don't hit it at the right angle.

Porsche documented the aero advantage of that spoiler with SPASM when the 991 was introduced. Do you think they lied about that and did it just for looks? It does look good and would look more "race car" with a set of lowering springs. .

PS- when you described it as "finished" I thought you had backed down a steep slope driveway and popped it off. I did that the day in got mine in March 2012 (and haven't done it since).

Those wheels look great against a black car.

Be sure to go down steep drives at an angle. It will scrape at the point the level street meets the driveway because the lip sticks out further (not lower).

A big difference in design here is a blade sticking straight out and a lip that both sticks out and has some angle on it as well. To your point, the downforce is likely negligible at typical speeds but down and out is far more efficient than simply a straight blade going forward.

Would need a CFD tool to quantify.
