Default Too adventurous?

I am thinking about ordering a Rhodium silver 991.2 with blue convertible top and blue full leather interior. My idea is the blue will emphasize the blue hue in the rhodium silver. Is this too adventurous and should I stick with black top and black interior?

I've seen the car of which you speak. It's a great look. Rhodium goes well with nautical blue.

My sister had a 2000 Boxster S back in the day that was Metropole Blue interior and top, over Arctic Silver. It looked pretty good, and Metropole wasn't anywhere near as distinctive as Yachting Blue (is that still the name of the blue color?), and Arctic didn't have any blue in it.

I think yours will be a good choice, if you like blue; I'm not a big fan of blue, so the fact I like it is even more of an endorsement.

"Adventurous" is taking your 911 to Tijuana, so the bar has been set pretty high for "too adventurous"!

That is a classy "nautical" combo. Get it with silver deviated stitching to make the interior pop.

+1 on the silver deviated stitching. You could also do silver seat belts. I think the color combo would be a great look.

I get tired of things quickly. Just make sure the adventure won't wear off and you wish you had gone black top. Just a thought.

It's not crazy. Makes sense.

And he will be fine. Yachting Blue is pretty common.

I looked at a white / blue / blue cab when I was buying. Looked very sharp.

EDIT: Forgot Yachting blue is no longer offered. Graphite blue is it. Graphite is pretty gray.

Fair enough, tastes and stuff..and your car, your rules :-) but you are limiting your market somewhat. I like it more than a red dash/wheel, but I find colored dashes hideous - just my personal opinion and feel free to ignore me but i'm pretty sure I'm not totally alone in that - screams 80s Mercedes - and I own an orange bimmer and used to own a fjord green 356 so colors don't scare me. But a colored steering wheel and dash makes me pass on a car every time :-)

I had a Mercedes e class coupe with a blue interior. It got old quick.
