Default 1st ride of the year

66 in southeastern Pa today. Uncovered the sleeping car for a little run. When you don't drive them for a few months it's a love affair when you start it up again.

Please tell me more about the Kline inconel exhaust. Are you still thrilled? How does it compare to stock? I'm close to pulling the trigger on one for my 991.2.

Got the oil up to 160, pushed the sport plus button, and the exhaust came alive with a growl. The exhaust is still amazing. I'm going on my 3rd year with it and would not trade it out for any of the others I have heard. It is so much angrier than PSE when pushed, deeper, throatier. Quality of the exhaust is amazing and Felix was wonderful to deal with. Yes, still love it.

There's been a ton of snow this winter--Snowbasin (ten minutes from home) received over ten feet in January. I had over four feet of the stuff at my house. February on the other hand warmed up and rained below 6k feet, so the roads were cleared of snow and the grit washed off. Tuesday was a bluebird day, I skied in the morning then uncovered the P-car and blasted around the area. What a shot of adrenaline! I've never driven any of my Porsche's in February.
Being Valentine's Day, there was also chocolate, dinner at a very nice restaurant followed by...
Let's just say it was a perfect day.

Yep, 69 degrees in Detroit. I had mine out for the first time and the top down. Feels great. My only worry is the crappy roads and damaging a wheel and tire.

Nice to enjoy a ride in the spring-like weather, but I kinda feel badly for those of you who choose to park your car in a garage all winter.

I just got back from two weeks in the Middle East and I couldn't wait to get back behind the wheel of my baby! I couldn't imagine not getting to drive her for months on end...

I still have a love affair every time I start up my 2 year old Cayman GTS even though I use it throughout the year (in winter on dry pavement days, with winter tires).
