I'd like to be able to drive my 2014 Carrera in cold, dry weather, maybe even occasionally in lousy weather. I started looking for non-UHP (or even all-season) tires, and discovered that there appear to be none. This just can't be. I can't be the only guy in America who wants to drive his 911 in cooler climes (below 40 degrees, which is verboten with UHP tires). Either 19" or 20" would work. I suppose I could go with extra wheels and snow tires, but find there is only one available: the Pirelli Winter Sottozero Serie II, and they are in very short supply. Am I misinformed? Is someone running High Performance or all-season tires on their car, year-round?

I run OEM Pirelli P Zeros for eight months of the year and then switch to a winter wheel set on Michelin Alpin PA4's for four months. This is my third winter of doing so - they work great below 40 degrees, dry or snow.

Thanks for the tips. However, the guy at Tire Rack says that the PA4 for the front (245/35 ZR20) is an N1, whereas the PA4 for the rear (295/30 ZR20) is an N0. He says they can't be mixed. Is this baloney? Or do you have a different size? By the way, it appears Hurricane has the same 20" Carrera Sport Classic wheels I have (also with Pirelli P Zeros). Love the black wheels on the yellow car.

Im on Alpins for 4-5 months too . 245/20 and 295/20. Its the only way to IMHO. Couldnt imagine A/S for 12 months.............

Does Michelin make the Pilot A/S3 in a size that will fit your car? That is probably the highest performing all season tire on the market.

Wow. The link to the Michelin website seems to make it abundantly clear that these sizes ARE acceptable and available. As seems to often be the case, Tire Rack is far from the final word on tires. Thank you!

Although it's more like 6 months on winter tires and 6 months on summers where I live! Sometimes 7 months on winters!

I picked up a set of OEM 19" with tires and TPMS for my C4S for $1900

Even though in TN where it just get cold I feel better knowing I can drive anywhere I want when ever I want during the colder months.

And they look pretty good as well.
