Does anybody have the details on this, apparently used the new corsa track tires. Pdk?

That is.

Say what you will about the sound, or NA heritage. But the torque delivery (and efficiency) of FI is undeniable.

This car with a simple software tune would be a beast.

S4 -> M3 -> GT3 -> GTS in what, two years?

Edit to add: I do miss the low-end torque of my S4, but PSE on the NA 3.8 is awesome.

I was wondering what the new Turbo S would do for times. There was a number floating around it was just a calculated guess, not real world. Tires make a big difference.

I assume you know me from forums elsewhere. 😎

But...More like 4years.

The B8 S4 was my first "performance oriented" car, had that for almost 2 yrs. The F80 was next, still one of the best sedans I've ever driven, and had that for 18months, before springing for the 997.2 GT3.

Which is wickedly infectious car. The experience is 2nd to none I've ever had.

But looking to move to a 991 GT3 or RS. The GTS certainly from an numbers performance aspect, checks many boxes. And appears to retain comfortable manners as a DD with usable rear seats in the occasional instance where I need to run an errand with kids in tow. (Right now, I swap to my crewcab Tacoma for kiddie duties)

But having had a GT car, I will probably yearn for the tightness and refinement of the suspension and aero. And that less insulative driving experience.

I'd certainly would like to test drive the GTS when they are widely available.

You were one of the guys on AZ who seemed to quickly flip the F80, which was a big reason why I went S4 -> .1 C2S

We have a toddler and the Boston area has terrible roads, so no GT3 for me anytime soon. The 991's back seats were basically designed for kids; lots of good info here on booster/car seats

Porsche offers the color red? I could have sworn it was either black or the gray scale that were the only choices.

OP, just remember, that's a Porsche leaked time, not a publicly verified time. Do not compare it to publicly verified times of other Porsche's that weren't being driven by a professional race driver who lapped 50 times in perfect conditions until they got the best time possible...
