The same problem existed on the 991.1 non-Turbo and Turbo as well. No more easy adaptable of the Turbo wing after 2012.
You can see in these photos that the crease Hothonda mentions is in both the deck lid and the back edge of the hips. The Turbo tail descends smoothly to a point just above the taillights. If you tried to change the deck lid it wouldn't line up with the hips.
