Default Door Vibrations - Weekend Project

https://www.crutchfield.com/p_658HM1...12850-Kit.html

Planning on opening up my doors this next weekend as a little project.

I ordered up this Hush Mat material (link above) to install in, on and over certain door components to try to reduce the base vibrations. It shouldn't take much to make a marked improvement.

Last night was the 1st time seeing the thicker "base pad" material so it will be interesting to see how this works inside our doors.

I'll hopefully post up some happy results.

Good luck! I plan a doing a bit of this myself in the coming weeks. I've got buzzes/rattles coming from two places in the passenger door. I believe one is the coming from the window switch and one from the airbag cover.

Good results? I'm chasing similar vibrations as well. Dealer tried to tackle it. Made the problem even worse.

I strategically placed a few pieces of Velcro (fuzzy part) on the back side of the airbag cover and the buzz/rattles are gone!

Good to know.

I was thinking of placing a strip of foam weather stripping in the same area.

Unfortunately I haven't gotten around to to my doors yet.

I'll post up when I do.
