Vorsteiner | 991.2 Aero Development

With the enormous success of the of the 991 V-GT program, it was inevitable we were already planning for development on the 991.2 chassis. Although the audience seemed very split regarding Porsche's decision to drop the Naturally Aspirated motor and go Turbo, a lot of reviews have shown positive responses in the driving experience of Forced Induction as well as garnered a lot of interest in the tuning community with the potential this vehicle carries.

We were fortunate enough to acquire a few vehicles in-house for R&D and we decided to have a little fun on this generation 2 by adding a Cabriolet variant. We utilized state of the art 3D Scanning to ensure every nook, crevice and hardware is utilized to factory standards and fitment.

At Vorsteiner, our mission was to re-introduce the generation 2 V-GT program to be a blend of form and function. With a beautiful canvas like the classic lines of a 911, one must tread lightly when creating pieces to compliment it.

Our 991.2 V-GT program will consist of a front lip, rear diffuser for both factory quad + Sport Exhaust configuration and a sport rear decklid replacement.

We are expecting a Spring 2017 World Debut on the 991.2 V-GT. If you have any additional questions please PM us or shoot us an email at support@vorsteiner.com

Will the spoiler fit a 991.1? I may have to hold off on the duck tail until I can see what the final product looks like.

Would like to know this too. Why does the .2 lid look so different, like it is an integrated one piece instead of a stick on lip?

Very nice looking exterior package, one of the best looking .2 I have seen so far. I would love to see more real world pictures.

Agreed on all counts! There's something about the smoothness of this that I find very appealing.... more than anything else I've seen on either 991 generation. Your best work yet in my humble opinion!

Hey BLAM,

The difference is the mounting points where the deck lid attaches to the vehicle are different between the .1 an .2. In addition where the decklid meets the engine cover the shape is slightly different between the two.

hope that helps.
