Just an update. There is a module for the steers MF wheel, which after a few hours, the dealer I went to figured out how to code it.

So to clarify, I only needed the steering wheel and the new stalk. People with a heated steering wheel will have to also get a new clock spring.

After your swap was the dealer able to remove the multi function key assignment option from the PCM? I can't recall the menu item however it was for the diamond shaped button on the MF wheel.

just a note on this, the PCM option went away and the sport light on my wheel started working after a subsequent trip to the dealership.

My dealer doesn't know how to do the programming. Is there a cheat sheet or a specific manual/reference out there that I can direct them to?

2014 S/PDX w/ MF to SD

Thanks in advance

i believe they just need to go to steering wheel electronics - code it for the correct wheel by unselecting the MF wheel and adding the SD wheel.

Installed Techart paddles to my MF wheel. Now I have the best of both worlds!

That's way simpler than they made it sound. My car is going in for service this week and I'll see what the advisor has to say. Fingers crossed.

good luck at the dealer, the visit that got everything working for me (after they coded the wheel the first time as above) was when they replaced my battery. I think they had to clear / recode other modules and then the everything else picked up the new settings.

I swapped out the MF steering wheel on my 2013 C2S for a sport design steering wheel last week. Took a couple of hours to compete. Nothing too complicated. Today I took the car in to get the lower right stalk programmed. Porsche of Orlando charged me an hour of labor. Works a treat.
