I keep my car quiet as I can on my commute in/out...large residential area 25mph and tons of people and kids out. I do end up going under 25 for the same reason of looks even though i'm not moving fast. Good news in the morning with the car warm up at least my neighbor has a Ford Raptor so he gets to be loud first. I just feel bad for my wife and baby as I can't back out with hardly any of my cars quietly. I have one of those old crappy vettes too and it is loud with any throttle at all...keep it slow too so not be extra obnoxious. Unless I want to be.

PSE off. Act like you're not having fun. Works around here.

I had a 2013 RS5 also. What were your impressions of the car? I found that I didn't enjoy driving it much on the street and realized I didn't care for low torque @ low revs vehicles.

Seriously though, don't speed in residential areas.
All of this more-Catholic-than-the-Pope advice is well and good, but the fact is, the official default speed limit for the entire City of Seattle is now 25 MPH, as of a few months ago.

There is no doubt in my mind boys... If you are getting dirty looks from men it is 1000% jealousy. There is no red blooded man in the world can hear an engine like that and not think "awesome... wish I had one"

This has happened to me many times. Always under the speed limit.

Haters gonna hate.

So I decided to take stock of all the speed limits on the way to work. Was surprised to find I was wrong about going 33 in a 25. I was going 33 in a 35 (yea me!). Feel a little better about getting screamed at.

Need to think more on the PSE usage because there is sometimes a gray area as to what is really residential. For example, look at the picture...that's residential but there are no houses close to the road. What to do...

P.S. I really want to go clean that sign.

A driver can be a Di*k at any speed. Even standing still. Show a little respect and you'll get respect. There's a lot to karma in life. Things come and go in circles.

I find it very one sided for pedestrians to scold at drivers and demonize them when they are the ones breaking the law by Jay walking. Just wave and smile next time. Ignorance is bliss.

I live in Amish country and I always turn PSE off when passing buggies.
