Default POST your Hot For Sale (HFS) ALUMNI car BUYS!

I got a suggestion from a HFS alumni to have a thread having guys post the cars they bought from seeing them on Hot for Sale, or who really were helped by all the information there to make their own finds a reality!

It would be nice to see them all posted in one organized spot without having to dig through 1,000's of posts there.

The pre-owned 991.1 experience can be overwhelming and tests your patience. For many, their dreams have been realized with their dream car

HFS alumni, show us your rides!

I suppose my own searching experience and whole learning experience was the basis for starting HFS. I started mostly on 6Speed, and did LOTS of reading and asking questions. I really wish I had a place like HFS back then. Would have made my whole experience a lot easier.

I think this is a great idea! You should amend your original post to include a link to this thread. The HFS thread has been a great resource for those in the pre-owned hunt.

Thanks for everything you, and for the fact that you do it all out of the simple passion you have for Porsche and this community.

Thanks Nick. Makes it a lot more fun and enjoyable when you can mod your car with goodies that you custom make! Having artists/ craftsmen/innovators like you guys on RL is a pleasure as well.

Great thread idea. Ultimately I didn't buy my unicorn off the HFS thread but it gave me an excellent idea of what pricing was!

My story: https://rennlist.com/forums/991/9510...-new-ride.html

This past August, I picked up a 2013 911S (991) with 13k miles on it and 3 years left on the CPO warranty. Original MSRP was $172,205. Black exterior with black leather interior. I could NOT be happier with this car! Most insanely loaded 911S I have ever seen.

I traded in a Basalt Black/Platinum Gray 2012.5 991S (great car!) that I had owned for over two years (with an original MSRP about $50k less than this one) - this one is MUCH nicer!

Geez, easy enough just buying one of the hand picked posts there like many have done. Many of those have sold within hours of posting.

2012.5 991.1 C2S GT Silver over black interior.

Perfect. OEM mounting points on ends. Double sided tape in middle section. Totally look OEM.

Plus mount underneath with a perfect fit. Just the the OEM 4S wide body ones, but just a bit more flared out and different shape.

Not like TechArt and some others which are pieces that stick OVER the current bottom sill and look like an afterthought.
