Default Anyone have a good SoCal Indie shop to recommend?

Hey guys. Posting this here as I imagine you'd have the most knowledge pertaining to who works on late model Porsche's and where.

I'm looking for an alternative to getting basic service (2 year service interval) from a dealer. Or an idea on pricing differences.

Anyone have anyone they can recommend in the preferably greater L.A, or general SoCal area?

Thanks.

Autowerkes in Huntington Beach. The owner Bruce has been in business for decades and he really knows his stuff.

House Automotive in Pasadena. They're the best. Took my 997 there for everything (from oil changes to major services) and will be taking my 991 to them.

Oh and another Q, do those shops (or Indies in general) have the ability to do software updates?

Here's another vote for House Automotive in Pasadena! Those guys are great. Owned by former Porsche dealer tech.

Long Beach Porsche and Walters (Riverside) give 10% discounted rates to PCA members... McKenna's service manager is a huge PCA supporter. Matches tire rack for us, discounts, etc. if interested, I can look up name. Did my 10k there. Great service, new loaner, texted me pics/updates during service

Performance Porsche of San Diego. My Uncle In-Law owns it, and it's very highly rated.

We highly recommend TRE in Van Nuys and TLG in North Hollywood (no affiliation to either).
