Is a launch vehicle considered new indefinitely?

Turbo S's Are dropping into the 120's now for a 14/15. Would you guys take a 991.2 Over that? Just curious.

Rear wheel drive and manual option. So much more fun.

I agree, my point being that they're even advertising discounts says something.

Default It's been noted in other threads here...

that sales have been declining over the past several years and that the Macan is its flagship.

Maybe the discount from this dealer (between 2.4% and 2.9%) is their way of resetting the MSRP from which the traditional 5% - 6% could be had?

Maybe this cold weather northern dealer is trying to stimulate sales during a typically slow selling season in search of volume?

Maybe this is the new normal where the stodgy premier manufacturer of fine autos finally realizes that it has to do something to stimulate sales of it's original flagship and has selected certain dealers to pilot a discount program.

Who knows at this point?

Should be interesting to watch

I don't know if I should be posting this here or not. If not my apologies in advance, let me know & I will edit this thread.

I am noob and looking at 2009+ 911 CS upto a certain budget. Wondering if this is priced right, it's got tons of options ; half I have no idea what they are or mean

Okay but my question is why are there any 991.2 cars out there as used/CPO? Isn't the car barely 6 mo old? Surprising or due to the new turbo motor?

Used cars pop up pretty quick. Even at under a year. Happens with any model.

I see like around 52 preowned 991.2 C2S, 4S, and Targas on cars.com and 35 base models.

ALOT of NEW .2 inventory. Like 450 base models and 600 S/4S models. With 2018's coming out soon, lots of 2017's.

On the other hand, like 2,800 2017 Macans.

Cars.com obviously didn't pick up everything. So increase those #'s by maybe 20%?? A guess.

How much of a discount from MSRP would be considered a good deal on a certified 991.2 Targa with 1600 miles?

Apparently there aren't as many 991.2 allocations as dealers had 991.1 allocations. And for the Targa, 4s and GTS models, its even thinner. Wonder if they are trying to drive up a little bit of demand or special factor for them pre the 992 or whatever they will call it.

guess is a 12 ish to 15ish percent discount would be pretty good actually. Targa models seem to hold super strong

Wow - the USA is a whole different ball game. In January 2017 the US sold 817 911's and Canada sold only 32. So the used market is going to be huge in the future. If I was in the states, I would look for a great deal on a 15/16 CPO real "turbo" (like HotHonda's) over a used 991.2

In Canada, 991.2 inventory is pretty much non-existent and even more so on the west coast. First time buyers don't generally receive a discount on a 911, there just isn't enough cars to go around. I do, as I have a little insider knowledge from being in the industry.

Allocations are minimal for sports cars but plentiful for Macan and Cayenne. Even the new Panamera is selling strongly.
