I still have them - contemplated switching but I like them with dark blue metallic... something retro and OEM about it.

on the fence though

IMHO clears look better if you have the black and white wheel crests but the ambers match the colored crests nicely. Nice that it's an easy swap.

At least upgrade to the orange LEDs. Better looking light pattern.

i thought i was the only one that liked the orange markers And i am still a fan of yellow/orange turn signal lenses on the rear of the car you easily know its a turn signal or hazards a mile away.

I had them on my silver cayman s and thought they looked fine. Now interesting, my 991 came with the clear markers (i bought the car out of state) but would not pass Maryland inspection, so the porsche dealer sent me a set of orange to satisfy inspection, and i liked the way they looked (car is Platinum silver with Luxor), so then i decided i would install one clear and one orange and decide after 2 weeks which i liked best, but the metal clip came off and fell on the inside of the bumper cover (twice) so i ended up with the clear. i may take someone up on their offer to get rid of the orange markers in future....

In my humble opinion the orange side markers only look decent on silver cars. Everyone else needs the clears (especially red - good God!)

All this talk about the side markers - What I don't understand is the black and white center caps, come on spring for the $150 for the colored ones much richer looking and are consistent with the emblem on the hood and calipers etc; the black and white to me looks like they are made with a black sharpie. Just my worthless opinion....
