To the OP, since you said money is not an issue, consider a used TT instead of a new C2S or C4S. Much better value in my opinion.
Sorry meant to say base and minimum option c4s is within my budget. Wish i could afford used 15' TT.

Glad you like the M2!

That said my "other" car is a 2013 991 Carrera S I picked up and it is a whole diffferent drive than my M3. Added sport exhaust as a retrofit since it was a CPO and swapped an Akrapovic Ti exhaust instead of a PSE and the car is the business! Just needs a Cobb tune and I think life is good.

Best of both worlds man....you can't go wrong with a base 991.2 or a 991.2 C4S...as the hips are just great to look at and do add something to the car. I have a 2009 C4S before I traded it for a 2014 Cayman S and it was just a great car all around. Grip was phenomenal and even though I didn't live anywhere with lots of winter weather it did the job. C4S is also a plus if you live in areas that get lots of rain also...but are not a must have...probably will be a bit cheaper if you're outside of the northeast and Pacific Northwest to purchase also. Good luck! You've got a good problem to have I think!
Thanks for the advice. Very nice garage! If the C4S wont go through today (out of state) i will buy local and build a c2s. They dont have allocation left for c4s.

Now need to look for shipping company. Dealer wants 1500 fr NY to TX. Thought thats high.

The M cars are okay for what they are but the "driver's car" soul died when it went forced induction and started playing to a 0-60 demographic.

Sound familiar?

Back in August I bought my 4S in Salt Lake City and drove it back to Austin, going out of my way through some of the best roads in the Utah and Colorado mountains and then finding some wide open two-lanes along the edge of New Mexico. I bet I didn't spend more than 40 miles on an interstate but somehow I still made decent time overall.

It was a hoot. My wife didn't want to go since she knew I would be driving it hard and doesn't like being in any car for long distances, but she stayed home and managed logistics for me. She'd check in late in the day, found out roughly where I would be that evening, and then arrange a nice place for me to overnight and suggest interesting places for food in the area. It was fun teamwork in its own way and I had a wonderful drive at my own pace. Well worth the miles and time. Just something to consider.

Depends on the experience you are looking for. IMO a 911 is a rear engined rear wheels drive experience, and that trait is what some (most?) are looking for... That being said I've test driven many a C4/C4S while looking for my car and Porsche did a very good job of making that extra traction unobtrusive and probably better on low adhesion conditions. There's no wrong answer, but methink if you are going for your first 911, you should get the original C2S for "that" experience and learn to drive it as one drives a 911 - it's different from any other car out there in how it handles... It won't be your last, you can always try a C4S next time... Personally since I live in decent weather, I prefer less weight and less stuff that can go wrong on my car ! Then again your nickname is Quattro, sooooo ;-)

Traded my 2015 M4 in for a 911. My M4 was highly modified (downpipes, Dinan, KW HAS), but very happy with my 911 purchase. Different car for sure. The 911 feels more nimble, smaller, and better quality over all. Plus (it's me I'm sure) that the Porsche fits my age group better 40+

Well gents and lads, I'm a sucker when it comes to waiting game....After failing to negotiate payment at delivery from a NY dealer for a C4S, I purchased at local dealer a manual Carrera. Not my original color of choice but I'm happy the more I'm staring at it. The manual in P-car feels way better than in the M4, well I guess that's obvious....What I don't understand is manual could still have Sport Chrono with Sport, Sport + and Individual. I thought that's for PDK only. Anywho, here are some cell phone pics.

I'm stocked to say the least. Still trying to calm down and swallow it slowly LoL. I might sleep in it tonight hahaha

Congrats! Looks like a beauty. North Houston is where I bought my Cayenne. They are good people, although not so great with moving on price but that seems to be Houston for ya!

Be sure to come to one of the LSR PCA coffee meet ups. We have them every Saturday around the city. Look on the Facebook page or the LSR PCA website for the calendar.

What are the specs?

Thanks! I'm on the West side, I-10/Grand Parkway.

Is the Prepaid Maintenance a must? I already have clear bra done on front/hood/mirrors.
