PDK here so nothing on that. Wipers jump, windows jump odd noises after shut off yup, just to let you know you're not in charge. 20k on my '14CS and never smelled oil, only the nice smell of German cows.

Race Car
I notice a strange sound whenever I have the PSE turned on, the sunroof open, and the accelerator depressed. My young son noticed it, too.
"Daddy, it sounds just like a race car."
Why yes.....yes it does, my son.

I know if I'm having a bad day I can just hop in the car and take it for spin through middle TN's back country roads and come home with a smile on my face and recharged.

for me the parking brake seems normal after driving MB for over 10 years (you set it with your left foot pressing forward, and release by pulling the lever with your left hand), I guess i'm old school and like to turn everything off before i turn the car off, so saved the HVAC to off, and then I just hit auto after i start the car and the fan speed seems to match the temperature/conditions better. noticed the wiper jump once or twice....

Three Wheelin'
[QUOTE=GregD;13687306]Mine anyway... After 10 days, I *love* the car but I've picked up on some weird stuff... Maybe you have more or can tell me why it's not weird- or to RTFM but I haven't received the manuals yet ;-)
- Shifter indicator: On a manual, not sure what the point is because it only works *after* you release the clutch, so it's no use in case you're worried about a money downshift. Would be useful if it could display the selected gear *before* the clutch pedal is released ! (mod?)
I have a 2016. My shift indicator displays the gear BEFORE the clutch is released. In fact i can depress the clutch and never release it and then put it any gear, except first, and the indicator will show the correct gear

It's funny what drives some people crazy, and what doesn't bother others.
To me, I would never want the fan off at all. It's intelligent enough not to blow a bunch of air at you until the temp warms up or cools down. Also, there are enough things to do when you get in the car to start it, that pushing the fan down switch a few times wouldn't bother me.
To be completely fair, this is a HUGE point of contention on the BMW forums, mainly from the California guys and other areas that have low humidity. It drives them all nuts.
