I use the BMW version and this looks even better. Set your destination in your house and it is ready to go in the car. Destination pics looks like a nice addition. With a smartphone you are totally connected to the outside world so why not the same with your car?

Anyone have any info on it's speed? I have an S Class (soon to be gone!!) that had MBrace.... which is their version of Porsche Connect.
SLOW ANTIQUATED SERVICE. Was like working back in the 90s. The WIFI was awful too.
Is Porsche better?

There are three Services available, I have subscribed to the 'Security Services' and 'Remote Services'.
There is an undocumented SIM in the vehicle for these services seperate from the readily available SIM card which is used for PCM NAV services with AT&T($10/month).
I have the APP on my iPhone and find it very useful, the only thing I can't do is remotely lock because I don't have keyless entry. If I had known that, I would have ordered keyless entry.
The ability to locate your car, check the lock staus and other paramters is nice but the GEO and SPEED FENCING is worth while.
While my car was having a custom part made, I told the company that I had set paramters for vehicle speed and location. No problems.
There are also Service and Transport Modes available.
Neither Porsche nor Vodaphone will discuss (correctly so) the implemntation of these features.
Since LOJACK is not available for monitoring in Wisconsin, Security Services is worthwhile in my opinoin. Remote Services is techy but I am a techy and it's available.-Richard

Don't these service come free for a period of time? If so, how long?
Here's a web site that has pricing. Big discount if you buy multiple services, and 24 month term:

Don't have my 991.2TT yet -- it's coming into port tomorrow (should take delivery next week), but my understanding is the Connect functions come free for 1 year, then those fees apply -- don't think you need ATT for that connectivity.
What you do have to pay ATT for ($10 monthly on my plan -- same as adding an iPad to your plan) is the Sim for the Navigation and Car Play services, if you want the convenience of not plugging in your iPhone each time you drive. This is separate from the Connect services.
In other words, I believe there are two Sims -- one for Connect, and the other for Navigation including traffic and CarPlay.
Feel free to make any corrections if my thoughts are erroneous.

Yes.
SIM is AT&T. 3 months free.
Connect Services is Vodophone.
I've activated but no bill yet. You do have to go to the Vodophone (CobraTelematics) website to activate and supply plate for theft recovery and other data such as cell #'s.-Richard
