Lord, is the 991.2 a fast car!
Around Willow Springs, the 991.2 is quicker than a 991.1 GT3 AND a 991.1 Turbo S! Wow. Can't wait to see what the .2 GT3 will have to offer

WOW...I am really surprised in those results because both the 991 Turbo S and GT3 have 4WS and more powerful motors.

How is the Turbo S slower? All that additional weight must be costly.
I'm curious as to the future of the GT cars. I think they are going to have to go turbo to stay ahead of the non-GTs.

Having driven a .2 C2, back to back with a .1 C2S, my thoughts were: man, the turbo really makes up for the fact that it's not a Carrera S; the .2 Carrera S must be a rocket and secondly, the .2 seemed a LOT more planted and stable than the .1. Although to be honest, I kind of like the old school feeling of the .1 vs. the .2.

I've driven the .1 C2S and .2 C2S on the track and the .2 C2 on the street. I love them all. I wouldn't kick any of them out of bed.......unless they were better on the floor.

only reinforces my thoughts about the .2 GTS if/when it shows up and also the .2 GT3 ... gotta have the 4.0L and PDK (at least as an option along with the R's 6MT and LWFW)

Porsche's main focus from a marketing perspective is to make each new gen faster. The way the industry is going,I don't see how they could come out with a car that has the same power levels as the old gen and be just as fast or even slower. I personally could care less about their numbers and power levels,all I care is how I feel when I get behind the wheel. If I like it then it's mine. I've had it with fast fast fast...fast until what point? The limit has been pretty much reached or close to it. On the street at least...it's where these cars spend most of their time. So why do we buy into " fast "? Pure marketing is why...
It's the same reason why cars that try to use a healthy concept from the driver's perspective like the Cayman GT4 or 911R will continue to win awards,because a good car is not only about " fast ".
