Default Paint protection in NC

Have my order in for a C2S in GT Silver. Trying to do some advance planning and find a reputable installer for a clear bra and/or paint protection. Definitely don't want to use the pre-cut film and get the seams that I have read about on the forum.

Never had a clear bra or any protection on my other 911's. Is it worth it to do it if you can find a great installer?

Would be nice to know where you are located in NC

I would take a look at the dealer installer 1st and then branch out from there.

Hendrick will do it in Charlotte. They haven't done mine yet, but that's the way I'm leaning.

Clear bra = yes, it's worth it if you hate paint chip.

Make sure it's a custom film cut and not a pre-cut.

As for paint protection, i had ceramic pro installed after paint correction. The car becomes very dusty after a week before ceramic pro. After ceramic pro, I see very little dust after 3 weeks so far. After reading the care and maintenance of these paint protection, it seems to be high maintenance...not sure if you want to deal with it.

Good luck.

Yes its worth it if you are the least bit **** about the look of your paint and car overall. Do not get pre-cut and find the best installer that others have used and can back up their workmanship. You won't regret it.

Thanks. I'm probably going to get the car from Fayetteville. I knew the former owner and have bought a few cars and had them serviced there. They are giving me a decent trade on my M6 and a 3% discount.

Just considering doing this. What do you mean by high maintenance?

Just got word from my Audi Sales contact (straight shooter good friend) in Raleigh about this company for wraps. He says best on the east coast. Talk to Pete

I've spoken to three different, highly rated places and none does custom cut. They're all pre-cut. In fact they tried to recommend I don't go with custom cut because they say that would mean a razor on my car. I'm taking their warning as a grain of salt because that's not what they do, but I'm curious why they're rated well when they're using pre-cut if that's not the best way to go.
