Default Silver accent trim for gauges

I've come across someone who purchased a set of these, was told the quality is shoddy at best.
Decided to purchase a set and try them myself, didn't sand any of the pieces, I can see why someone would say these are of inferior quality as some pieces could use sanding on the backside.

Literally took them out of the package and stuck them on, sorry for the terrible pics, I'll update pics over the weekend.

For anyone wondering, I paid $74.99 on Ebay
Shipping took 11 days, I'm on the East Coast

"I can see why someone would say these are of inferior quality...." Other than the backside, how is the quality on the front? I assume you can't see the backside when it's attached. Thank you.

Quality on the front is acceptable to me, I would recommend getting them for the price
I'll try to get better pics later on

My old man said the same thing haha, and not exactly chrome
Maybe because I have a boring standard black interior but I'm a fan

They look more like satin too me. Not bad looking btw. Do they just stick on the top of the original dash? If so than it can be removed with no I'll affects if they become burdensome.

Correct, more like satin
and they come with pre-applied double sided tape and can be easily removed

Better pics for those who are interested

How well does the color matches with the existing OEM aluminum trims?

I took the plunge, seems to match the sport design wheel very well. It is a satin silver....

Yes. Gauge cluster should be the same as the 991.1 cars.
