Default after test drive of 991

Hello

i am new on this forum

i just test drove 2013 carrera base with sport chromo and sport steering wheel and also exhaust button
not sure for exact names for this things
also it had drilled rotors, is that normal for base?

i really liked the car but i notice oil on the ground 15 min after test drive
what do you think? Should i walk away?

thinking to trade my c6 vette and maserati quatroporte GTS

Thanks

Private party or Porsche dealer? Oil leak is not necessarily a deal breaker but you need to find why is leaking first.

porsche dealer
car has 20 k miles
it is under warranty and i am sure they will take care of it

when i test drove in sport plus mode the car would keep in first gear so long during taking a ramp with little traffic that i was worried, but the guy told me it is normal in that mode
maybe that was the reason?

In my opinion, an oil leak would be concerning for a car with such low miles. I'd ask for the dealer to address this before going any further. Thankfully, it's a dealer car.

Yes, sport plus basically redlines each gear. Not useful in normal driving.

do you think 67 k for base with this nice option is a good deal?

I wonder if they just changed the oil in the car and that is the drip. Worth finding out.

If they fix the oil problem and let you know what it was I wouldn't be concerned.

It doesn't quite sound like the best deal to me. I bought my 2012.5 CPO Carrera S w/ 24K miles for less. It didn't have the PSE or Sport Chrono, but you get the engine, PASM, and lots more with the "S" model.

Here's a C2S on Autotrader that might be worth looking at if you like the color combo:

I'd suggest you do more research, watch lots of reviews on Youtube, and scour the internet for cars that are for sale to get a good idea of what you want and the market prices. Good luck in your search

This actually happened to me. I bought a CPO car in one city, drove it home and started noticing a leak on the driver's side. Took it to a dealer near home and they told me the original dealer didn't properly put on the oil filter when changing the oil...that was in March but haven't had an issue since.
