Default A paltry substitute for my GTS

I took my GTS in to the dealer and left it for a week for a third attempted fix (2nd at the dealer) of minor electronic issues. This is my substitute. While not a Carrera, I have to say it is a pretty amazing SUV. They sure are making these more and more car-like. Bad thing....my wife really likes the Cayenne and now wants to replace her Infinity.

I had a Cayenne before my 911 GTS. Excellent vehicle!

This pig will climb anything.Actually I am very grateful. The last time I had a service issue with my 997 I was not offered a loaner, but rather the chance to rent, I think it was a SMART car, from the dealer for $20/d.

PCNA (company-wide?) has a major push on improving customer experience, much needed in my opinion. One of those key areas is loaner cars!

Now if I can just find service advisors who aren't unresponsive on one end or A-holes on the other....

From what I read, you all must have some really crappy dealers. I've owned p-cars for over 30 years. Never once has a dealer not given me a loaner, and never anything but another p-car. Worst car I've ever gotten was a Panamera Hybrid.

So true. I pull up after my 1 1/2 hr drive to get there. "How's it going?" I said. He kind of looked at me."It's going". Not having a good day I guess. He did come out to the car though, so that was good I suppose. I hope to be able to give a good report to Porsche about my experience this time.

What is the best car you have ever received? I wondered if anyone is ever deemed worthy of getting another Carrera to use. The girl who gave us the loaner Cayenne was super friendly and sweet, saying she was giving me 1/2 tank to start, and I could bring the car back on empty if I wanted. Now that is good customer service!

I don't think my dealer has 911 loaners. I've had Boxters and Cayennes as loaners.
