Default Sold my 991S and upgraded to a new ride!

While on vacation in Arizona last week, I struck a deal on a new-to-me CPO 911 S, came back home to Virginia, and then drove over to Ohio this weekend to pick it up.

We drove a few states over on Friday night and yesterday morning we picked up a 2013 911 Carrera S (black with full leather black interior) w/ Powerkit, Aerokit Cup, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) w Sport PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management), PDK, Sport Chrono, Porsche Sports Exhaust (PSE), full leather, carbon fiber trim, carbon fiber illuminated door sills, carbon fiber multifunction heated steering wheel, yellow seat belts, yellow gauges, Burmester, Adaptive cruise control, Porsche crest in headrest, leather seat backs, Porsche entry & drive, glass sunroof, 18 way seats, PDLS (black), 20" Carrera Classic wheels, 5mm wheel spacers, aluminum-look gas cap.....and I am sure that I am missing a few things.

Most insanely loaded Carrera S I have ever seen - original MSRP was $172k (about $50k more than the original MSRP on the one that I traded in - this one is FAR nicer). CPO - three years of warranty left on it - and has only 13k miles on it. And most importantly, it felt like a brand new car when I picked it up. Very happy with how the deal worked out.

I had no interest in moving on after owning my 991 S for these past two years (I loved that car!) but this seemed like a very special car, at least to me.

Definitely in my happy place right now - very lucky and blessed that my wife puts up with my addiction to sports cars!

The old and the new - my previous one is on the right:

On the drive back home:

Powerkit!

And I found it in the "Hot for Sale Thread" - thanks to those who posted it and those who shared information about their dealership experiences and recommended a salesman! Justin at Byers Porsche in Columbus Ohio was fantastic!

Wow Very nice! That's extremely loaded! I think those wheels are amazing - have them on order for mine (delivery end of sept) - not nearly as loaded as yours! Wow - Congrats, mazel tov, and drive in good health!!!!!

Awesome! Think of it like doing a couple dozen mods to your previous car and getting it back with some serious upgrades.

Congrats

Amazing ride and find. Thanks for being a loyal HFS follower.

The steering wheel?? An easy swap if you don't like it.

I love the build!

Hurricane, nice specs on the new ride. Can you feel the PowerKit and extra 30 HP? Interested in your response since you had measurable seat time in the prior 991S.

With two years seat time with my 991S and a season and a half of autocross - this one definitely feels a little quicker. I took a lot of back roads on the way back to Virginia and played with the car a little - I could feel a difference. It wasn't a huge difference but I could definitely feel the slight increase in power. The note on the PSE (my old one was PSE also) also had a little more bite than the old one. Hard to describe sound in words, but definitely a little different note.

You got yourself a beautiful car there. Amazing how options can completely change the vehicle.

I'm just curious about the PO. Car seems too highly optioned for a dealer to spec it out that way and seems too well thought out for a guy to buy and then get bored with it in a couple of years.

Doesn't really matter. Enjoy and thanks for sharing.

Ditto with this, and also to compare and contrast the PCCB on the chassis. Congrats!

sweet car, the only thing that could improve it (IMO) is a Sport Design steering wheel - esp since its a PDK, loose that MF and its buttons and paddle!

Congrats, great looking ride. Wish my GTS had the engine bay badge in carbon fiber, looks sweet.
