Has anyone figured out how to create speed dials on the 991.2 without having to use carplay?

The best that I could find is to setup "my screen" and use contact short cuts. Ideally what I would like to do is be in the phone screen and hold down one of the numbers on the touch pad. Is something like this possible?

Many of us have found that even when you set up My Screen with phone contacts the PCM doesn't retain them in its memory.
