I also have owned BMW motorcycles since 2000 and love them. I'm selling my R1200R for the Porsche, too. While Porsche doesn't make motorcycles, I won't have much use for my bike since I haven't figured how to put a car seat on the thing without getting a sidecar!
They do design motorcycle engines!

bimmer guy here as well, returned my E92 M3 and still have a E46 M3 track car. 991 as a daily driver is much more fun and dynamic. Although a burden to buy groceries.

I almost got a 16 GTS, but someone got it before I could.

I like it down. The sales guy did something holding the button and it got stuck! Its back to normal now.

I got a harmony booster in my 991.2 yesterday. I was stoked it fit!

No ///M cars here but the wife and I still drive 2 Bimmers. A big fat 535 GT and a 328xi which is my DD.

Surprised you lasted 10 months in the new M. I lasted 10 minutes and was trying to like it until the wife killed the deal and we stepped up to a 991 GTS.

Enjoy the new ride in good health
My wife HATED my M4. HATED the engine sound. She actually, completely agreed with my Porsche dream. And let me do it!

I took a nice long drive up towards Santa Barbara and could not be any more happy with my purchase. The money is WORTH it. I just love my 911!

The sport exhaust and gurgles are just awesome!

I have had 7 BMWs before moving to my first Porsche. I will post a review after I get past 2k miles. Right now I only have 450.
