My first Porsche!
Never thought I would be posting this so soon. I've been chasing a good deal on a new F80 M3 since over a year. 911 was never on my radar as I knew these are not in the price range I was aiming for. I landed upon a forum posting where someone was trying to decide between a new F80 M3 and a used 991.1 C2S. I did not even know what 991.1 C2S meant. A lot of research into the brand and the 911 range followed. Finally last week I pulled the trigger on a used 2014 Carrera S in Guards Red with 14k miles on it. Forget a test drive, I haven't even seen a 911 from up close until the moment I received my own. I can only say I am blown away by how it looked, the color, the handling, the sound, the appeal...I can go on and on..

Congratulations and welcome. I remember that feeling when I found my 997 on fleabay. Thought it would be a 1 year or 10 year obsession. It's been 8 years and it ain't ending at 10.

Hah! I have a F80 M3 on order, but because I want the new idrive 5.0 and apple car play, I coudlnt get one until Oct. I ended up over here just kicking tires...lol. Now I got one myself. Hah.
Don't get me wrong. I loved My BMWs. But I am SO glad I don't have to hear my M4 exhaust anymore. #lawnmower

Congrats.
Agreed that the silver trim on black wheels gives a bit of retro vibe. Great look with Guards.
I loved my E90 M3, it had a ton of character, but the 991 blows it away.
