Default PCM radio buttons

Hi all! Have a 2013 C2S and notice that when on the radio screen on the PCM that if I'm listening to a preset station and its highlighted.....I shut the car off and then restart later, the PCM always goes back to the # 1 preset highlighted and the prior preset station is highlighted as well and playing. Anyone else have this?
Thanks!

Mine does not do this. Are you sure you are turning off the radio completely? Are you pushing in and holding the off button for 2-3 seconds?

Mine does the same. Although I also have front and rear parking sensors, and when I put it in reverse and the PCM flips to the outline of the car showing sensor readings, and then I toss it back into drive to drive on, the radio will then correctly circle the station that is playing. But if I don't have the need to put it in reverse and just pop it in drive and drive away, it shows like yours. Very odd glitch to be sure.

Mine does it. My 997 did it, too.
As problems go, this isn't one.

What do you mean, it stays on the same channel? The OP says his stays on the same channel from the standpoint of the radio plays the same channel that was selected when car turned off, but the channel indicated/highlighted is always #1 when the car is turned back on.

Sorry. I know you didn't call this a problem. Didn't mean to imply you did.
My point was...this is just a quirk in the current audio system from Porsche, a company that couldn't care less about audio systems.

Sounds like it is just a "quirk" with our PCM. Was just wondering if others experienced this if you could update or reset something (PCM) to get it to work right. Sounds like it is what it is. Thanks to all for responding.
