Mexico Blue is 'Paint to Sample' and Miami is a 'standard' color, so its cheaper (about $5k) and easier to obtain, also Mexico is much 'bluer' than Miami ... but you really need to park the two next to each other to distinguish since all these colors (Mexico, Riviera and Miami etc) are very susceptible to color temperature and do not render accurately in photographs

Armin--Thanks. Mexico Blue is a favorite of mine and a little darker and bluer I think. It's a PTS color where MB is on the option list as a "Special Color".

If you wanted the car sooner you definitely made the right call picking up that 4S allocation!
My C2S is scheduled for late October, and Larry just mentioned the PCM supplier issue in Japan might cause a slight delay. I'm really happy I didn't rush to sell my GTS as I can enjoy driving it in the meantime...

Part of me wishes I had the ***** to go Miami. That's a stunning car. I saw one in person at Beverly Hills Porsche as I was shopping and couldn't take my eyes off it.

Ace--hope your build isn't pushed back. You will have no problem selling your GTS, my '12 C2S took three weeks.
Tal--I picked the car up Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday morning at two a.m. I awoke with buyers remorse...over the color. It's beautiful, but conspicuous. After an hour or so I settled back to sleep. When I woke again for the day I thought, "MyPorsche is Miami Blue, I love it and there's nothing to do about it." So I decided, "I'm going to own the color!", and that's what I'm doing. Everyone who's seen it has loved it--or at least that's what they're telling me. But I'm happy and content with my choice.
Go for it!
