Hello friends... I'm happy to report that I'm finally able to reset my service reminder with a cheap device.
I bought the device on eBay: Launch X-431 R Diagnostic Tool Reset Automotive Oil Lamp Service Light

Excellent seller, they shipped quick for being from China. Only 3 business days to Kansas City. Very responsive too.
Once received, I downloaded the software to update the device here:

When you first use the device, you may need to change the language to English. I select option 4, then kept clicking until I saw the word English.
The device works really well. Instruction can be found by googling "Launch Cresetter II." FYI, OBD port can be found behind the cover next to the foot rest pedal. Let me know if you have any questions. When connected, your car should be in the off position. Once connected and the device powers up, switch the ignition on (but engine off).
Cheers to a cheap alternative to Durametric.

I just performed the initial setup and software update on mine this past weekend. I just clicked on the link you show and when when it scrolled to the X431-R, I clicked the update link and downloaded the software. Its just under 40 mb and worked fine. My biggest problem was setting it to English. I clicked on option 4 and I had to click forever before English showed up. If you want, send me a pm with your email address and I will email the file to you.

The original one that I purchased would not update the firmware. The US Seller did take it back and I am awaiting a refund. He told me that they opted to no longer sell this option. Once received, I will let you know how I make out.
