DocMo - nicely done, indeed! I never understood the purpose of the horizontal slats and they look like mustaches to me...1 more mod to ponder, thanks, NOT!

I am sure some people like the horizontal slats. I wanted to take them off as soon as I bought my car it looks so much better without them.

Maybe I missed it, but how are the slats removed? Do you have to cut them out or simply remove with a trim tool?

you need to cut them out. My car body shop guy did it. For a good job the whole process including taking off the front bumper takes ~ 3 hours (if your guy is good)

Nice, that settles it for me to, I will remove the slats. Car looks much cleaner w/o. Thanks for the pictures.
What happened to your headlights, looks like they lost the tint?

these are not the black headlights, they never had any tint. Actually if I could find a good way to tint them I will do it. Any ideas?

Sorry to revive this thread, but after debating it and look at how clean your car is DocMo I am going to have the slats removed and grill installed

I am ordering the same mesh grill that JNOSOL used, but my question is, did they just cut the slats out and thats it? Doesn't it show on the inside of the plastic trim that holds them?
It looks like a new plastic linear

Would show if it was cut unless, sanded and refinished?
