Agate Gray Interior and Dirt
How does the agate grey interior stand up to dirt, smudges, wear and tear etc?
I currently have black which of course works very well at hiding those temporary imperfections but I am considering agate gray for my next car.
TIA

Well coming from Agate in my last car, I've got 2 years experience with it. First I really loved the look. It's a very good looking and unique interior. Loved the look. That was the good thing. I put about 21,000 miles on my last car and in that time it went from almost perfect to a real problem. Dirt and wear was pretty bad when I traded. It's one of the reasons I wanted out of the car. (I've got pretty serious OCD so take that into account). Once I got my car back from detail and the seats were WORSE than they were coming in. Crazy.
My current car has the black interior and I'm much happier. Just one guy's experience. It is super pretty though...

I have agate grey/amber combo and I love it. Agate part is easy to clean and does not show dirt or wear. It is my DD and use chemical guys leather care to swipe dirt off once in two weeks. I have Lloyd mats for summer and Porsche winter mats so the floor is covered.

OK well now you are confusing me LOL. I really like the color but this next car will be loooong term for me. I'm not afraid of maint but I really do want it to look good for a decade or so.

Go for it if you love the color. I am planning to keep it for awhile too...

Just a plug for the beige, you get a nice light interior that's bright and happy on rainy days, cooler on hot days, plus doesn't show dirt too bad.
I do love how the Agate two tone looks too though.

Only about 6k and a year and a half on the extended leather interior on mine. The leather surfaces are still mark free. I keep the Porsche rubber mats in the car year round, which has kept the carpet looking completely new.

Great timely topic for me! Wife vetoes all black interiors. Says they're hot and they "hide" everything in the car making it difficult to find buttons, levers, etc.
Have tan (camel) in our P85 and I'm NOT getting that in my 911. Agate seemed the perfect solution. I'll wait for a few more replies and see what the consensus is.

I have the agate/pebble gray two tone interior. First thing I did when I got the car was to apply Wolfgang leather cleaner and then interior sealant. Has kept my interior, even the lighter pebble gray of the seat that gets sat on, completely clean. Its all in the effort you make to keep it nice.
