Default 991 4s - infant

Hi all,

so the good news is - I'll be a father. Are there any
infant seats infant seats
for back seats of the 991? In the local store everything is a bit too big, either squeezing my wifes legs into her ***** (she is not really enthusiastic about this solution), or it seems really unsafe (another feature i'm not a big fan of is my little girl smashing my wifes head).

Basically - i just need it for short drives. Max 30 min, so I do think there is a a little possiblity to squeez my wife. Longer drives are going to be made in 2nd car.

Worst case scenario - front seat for little girl(must be rear facing) and wife ... well going with the 2nd car I just love this car so much - dont want to sell it, but to have and not drive its even harder. You know what i mean...

There are multiple threads on this topic with some good suggestions. Do a search.

Congrats on the upcoming addition to the family.

Congrats! I'd also wait until child was front facing or at least 4-5 years old.

My wife is 5'2", so we have more options. I use a Cybex Aton 2 rear facing infant seat for our boy. He's now seven months old. A Quinny Zapp stroller fits in the trunk. The seat is all the way forward. I'm not sure there are smaller rear facing seats.

My car is a 997 C2 GTS, so it has both the smaller trunk of a C4 and the smaller rear seat of a 997.

Congrats!!!! I've got an 11 week old son and am getting ready for Euro Delivery with him and the wifey. After extensive research (an understatement), I went with a Cybex Aton 2 with a BabyZen Yoyo Plus (2016 model with adapters).

The Aton 2 fits the rear without its base. You'll gain an inch of extra clearance by removing the seat cushion which is secured by Velcro.

The stroller fits the frunk with some room to spare.... and it always draws a crowd. It's the smallest folding stroller on the market and is the only one that qualifies for carry on with a plane.

The Quinny Zapp Xtra stroller also folds up small enough to fit in the frunk plus room for diaper bag / accessories.
