Default 2 year service cost?

What's the average cost for the 2 year service? I am being quoted 780 plus another 250 for brake fluid flush.seems high.

Also I am aware that DIY is like 4 bucks and a six pack, but I'm not going there.

All you need is an oil change and brake fluid service. Figure $550. The extra they are charging you are for visual inspections.

Change the frunk air filter yourself for $20 and <10 minutes and no tools.

How many miles?

I'll let it go this time. In the future though, I'll go to an Indy.

imho just oil change....no flush/cabin filter ect. no more than 400.00 . 250 does seem too high for the flush. check and see if they have any up coming service specials.

My 2 year 20k service was exactly the same amount. They do more than just change the oil, I don't remember everything but all the seals were treated for one thing. Pollen filters, stuff like that.

The next service at 3yr/30k is just an oil change if I remember correctly.

Mine was about the same price. It's under warranty therefore I go to dealer. Not looking to save a few bucks. If something goes wrong I know I will be looked after (I like my dealer). Can't say the same for Indy.

Yep. The more service history you have at a dealer, the bigger case they can make for a goodwill claim should you ever need it.

I paid $180 for the brake fluid flush earlier this week at the dealership (Houston)

A lot of people don't get this aspect. Nothing better than a good relationship with a P dealer service dept.

An "indy" isn't going to do warranty work.

Plus, nothing is better than timely and dealership service on a cars history. People look at CarFax religiously. Part of a cars "value".

When looking and posting used cars, the first thing I do is look at the history on the car. Scheduled Porsche dealer service is a BIG plus to many.

Weren't we just discussing this in another similar post within the last week??

DIY or build a relationship with a good indy for oil changes, filter changes, brake system flush's, etc. Leave only the warranty work for the Porsche dealer. T

That sounds very close to what mine cost. I had estimates from two local dealers, too - both around that same price.

I go in for the four year service in June *gulp*
