It looks like the price of every option was increased 19%. I wonder if this is an error...

In Germany, VAT is 19% and included in the price displayed on the configurator for each item. I'm guessing it's just carried over into the US config as an error.

Oh and one more clue - the summary page shows the wrong base price for the car, and that base price happens to be 19% more than the correct price...

Assuming there is a price increase, does this apply to all the cars in the system but not built?

The configurator is just all screwed up. That's all it is. They will fix it and then I can go back to spending my hours obsessing over my configuration. It's a pass time.

The price increase is a surcharge imposed by VW on Porsches to help pay for the huge financial penalties they are about to incur.
