Your thoughts/experiences about rear this rear wing?
I was looking around and saw this carbon fiber rear spoiler on eBay. It looks good but is coming from Chine. My 911 is guards red and I am thinking it should look good but I am not sold yet...

I was wondering if anyone has used or seen this type of spoiler. Your opinion is appreciated.
Thanks

Are you trying to save money by not buying the Vorsteiner? If so, buyer beware. Talk to one of the Vorsteiner distributors and get the best price. I had the Vorsteiner on my Guards red 4S before I put the Aero kit on. Good fitment and it looked good.

I'm a bit OCD about aero components, their one and only *function* is to reduce lift, increase downforce,
clean up airflow, create low pressure zones, eliminate low pressure zones etc etc ...
In my view unless such components are modeled and tested in wind tunnels
you are simply buying "lipstick for the pig" ...
given this component attaches to the std retractable factory spoiler I will bring
everyone's attention to the comments made by AP when discussing the aerodynamics
of the forthcoming 911R, in at least one report he was quoted as
saying they tried a "gurney flap" on the trailing edge of this very same spoiler
(or the R) but they found that the mechanism could not take the additional
force, hence why they resorted to a rear diffuser on the car.
My point being, at best you are probably only creating additional drag on
your car, worse case you are actually stressing the mechanism.
YMMV

Not a fan - If I were to do something it would be an aero kit with Porsche parts. I know it's heresy to some but the turbo wing or GT3 wing would look great. That said I've never had a wing on any car I've owned.

I don't know if your a spirited driver or a track rat, but the front is squirrelly enough with the factory spoiler above 115 Mph. Who knows what this will do at speed.

I've got a used vorsteiner Carbon wing in my garage. Used maybe 1k miles or so.
Took it off because I decided I look the no wing look on my 991. I've got a big wing on the GT4
If interested, pm me an offer.
