M235xi + 01' C4 Cab or a 2014 991?

I've driven a m235xi and also thought of purchasing one. It's very cheap interior and heavy body turned me off. I considered it because you basically fly under the radar and good fun around town. Totally over priced for what you really get though. Also sat in the m2 at the car show and again they did nothing to address the interior. The body is all steel instead of getting the m4 alloys to lighten it up. Kept that way as a money maker.
If you can financially do it than go for the 991. Just imagine for 20 k more you could have had a used 991 before getting the m.

everyone needs two 911s :
a nearly fully depreciated , therefore carefree , pile on the miles/ park it anywhere " driver " for any reason , any weather ...from surf to snow :
and something to appease the car-OCD side , like this for perfect days / occassions :

My wife drives her 997.2 C4S to work every day. In the winter it wears a set of snows. It's got film on the front end and is pretty chip free. I drive my 991 as much as I can in the winter, as long as it's not snowing. Being a real estate agent I need a car to fit clients in, so my Macan is both my snow car and my client car. Otherwise, I'd stick a set of snows on my car and drive it year round.
Get a C4 or C4S 991 and get rid of the other two. You'll be driving one great car all of the time, instead of one okay car and a car that was great 15 years ago.
