Default GT-1 Once-in-a-lifetime Event in Seattle

If this falls into the category of an unacceptable post then I would expect the mods to delete it. If not - last call for anyone in the Pacific NW to register to attend an amazing event featuring the winning Rohr team GT-1, Andy Pilgrim (driver), Tony Callas (Crew Chief), the Team Owner, and Randy Leffingwell (Porsche Historian). The event is a one-day program with identical sessions on Saturday 4/29 and Sunday 5/1. For a nominal fee which will go to a scholarship to a local tech school automotive program, you'll have a full day "up close and personal" with these guys.

Details available at http://pnwr.org/calendar07/display.a...16&Window=Same

Lots of memories seeing this GT-1 like Webber going airborne at Lemans and seeing them at Sebring with F1s and CLK-GTRs at the starting line.

Looks like an awesome event! I wish I wasn't so far away.

On a side note, I live a few miles away from Tony Callas' shop here in Torrance, CA. It's always a treat to drive by and see what's parked in the lot. 959s aren't an uncommon sight!

Awesome event! There were 200 people there today. They are expecting 100 on Sunday, so there is still room to get in if you can make it.

A great day. Car, driver, crew chief, Porsche history author, former owner/driver, and current owner. All incredibly informative, entertaining, and approachable. It took a lot of work, but as advertised this truly is a once-in-a-lifetime event. I'm fortunate to have been a participant.

We do still have room for more folks on Sunday May 1 if you can get up and be there before 9am! Proceeds go to a great local votech.
