Default 991.2 discounts?

Are the dealers moving much off MSRP on the new cars yet? Thinking about a C2S or C4S cab.

Try Porsche of South Shore in Freeport. They dramatically increased their allocation, are building a ground up new facility and are aggressively selling cars until the new building opens. A great opportunity that won't last long I suspect

4%-5% off is what I've read and heard (my colleague just bought a 2017 C4S), much more at this juncture and I'd be surprised.

Would be a good idea to mention what state or city as well when referencing. There is a big variation in discounts depending what part of the country the dealer is.

Also:

MSRP

Model

Custom build or car on the lot

Went through Costco Auto Program. Local dealer here in SoCal made an offer which was effectively 7.7% off MSRP on an 991.2 C2 ~$116k build order. He said Costco offers a certain amount above invoice, and the discount is progressive as more options gets added.

Yeah, I didn't even seriously consider it but thought to just submit for a quote. It took a few days, but the offer that came back from their authorized dealer just blew the other ones in my region away. The program's thing is the prices are fixed, no negotiating.

11.3% with a very fortunate sequence of events. 991.2 was on the lot.

Well, I negotiated a $ lease amount per month and when I showed up on a Sunday night to pick up the car 45min before they closed the finance guy realized that the sales guy made a mistake on their written email quote and wanted to charge me $250/month more ! I told him that we are done and I am heading home (the dealer was a 2h drive from home and I uber to it). They finally ended up honoring their initial quote which meant a 11.3% discount. It is a well optioned C2 that was in stock.
