The Blue Baron is such a spectacular build. I love the interior features, and CXX options are so cool.

Just heard that The Blue Baron is pre-booked on the Hoegh Bankok with an ETD of 8/23 and ETA of 9/6. Can't wait for the reunion!

haha One of my built-in limitations is the inability to smile on command. It used to drive my Pops nuts. Believe me, though, I'm smiling on the inside

Just read the whole thread. Great story.

In this day of black wheels, just love the silver painted ones. Actually sort of retro, but of course very modern CL. the overall look is brilliant as the Brits say.

Torque chap, congrats on everything. I literally showed my wife all your posts in this thread just now and told her that we are doing this in a few years (we currently have a 16 month baby). She said yes. So thanks for helping convince my wife that this is something that not only can be done, but can be done with a small child. THANK YOU!!!

My pleasure tango131. Just showed your post to my wife. She simply smiled and said, "Awesome." You'll make incredible memories. Trust me.

And congrats on your 16-month old

Very cool re your wife. Mine just called me a nerd when I told her about yours. Haha. And thanks for the congrats, she is our everything.

And this forum helped convince wifey that a 911 is a perfect family car because of the rear seats. The threads re booster seats really sealed rh deal. She was convinced of that too. So in a few years when it's "time" to get a new car --currently have a 6 yr old 987-2 S-- the 911 will be it. But I'll hang on to my little boxster. That will be for my daughter when she grows up .

Any new driving pictures? With the fall weather upon us - you probably can capture amazing photographs against the autumn leaves.

We've been swamped in domestic travel and repeated attempts to visit family in Colombia. Will try to get a drive in this weekend.

What a magnificent build! Thank you for sharing all of your adventure with us. The thought and attention to detail you put into the car is really quite special.

As others have said the color combination is rather spectacular. You have truly created a unique machine and had such a special experience getting to know it in Europe with your family. This is what dreams are made of. I hope you will have many years of pleasure with the Baron.

Best Regards,

Driven
