Is it curtains for the 991.2?

Anything that solidifies the time-honored tradition of rendering the newest version 911 as total crap, set to destroy the entire history of the model, is okay by me. We 991.1 guys have had to listen to it for 4 years* -- now we can join in with the SWB, long-hood, G-series, SC, Carrera, 964, 993, and 997 guys in deriding this latest generation. (996 guys are still SOL.)
*Technically, I've only had to listen to it for 1 year, as I was "one of them" for the previous 3.

There is no stopping change, or progress.

OK, so don't buy it. Is there something forcing you to buy it?
In the meantime, fwp.com is looking for new things to discuss.
Sorry this comes of sarcastic but ... someone else will buy it. Just buy something else.

The title of this post is a play on words to draw attention and discussion to one thing that has not been talked about, which is the new curtain that expands as the rear spoiler is raised.
It appears that the bi-fold will stretch even further as the spoiler is raised to its new, steeper angle of attack.
What is the material and support construction to hold the horizontal ribs? What is behind the curtain? Intercooler? If the engine is run hot at speed and then idled, is there a delay in the spoiler retraction to allow for more cooling?
Perhaps someone can weigh in on the technical aspects of this?
