You will love it. I was told the manufacturer is very busy. My experienced installer took 1.5 hours to remove the OEM Diffuser and install the new unit, plus drill the drain hole for the oil. He did this without breaking a single tab.

Believe it or not, but it's actually a shade of grey. The actual name of the color is Geyser Grey Metallic.

Wow, I'd never have guessed it was called "grey".

Blacked out tail lights and light strip plus ordered black lettering from Suncoast. I didn't think I'd like it (but thought what the heck) but it's grown on me. I'll also get the exhaust tips blacked out (probably try Plasti-Dip before powder coating them)

Great minds think alike. I did the very same mod to my 991.1 over the weekend. Installed Girodiscs all around along with low dust pads, Porterfield R4S. While the wheels were off they got a very thorough cleaning and I applied CQuartz UK to the wheels, and CQuartz DLUX to the hat section of the Girodiscs, the brake calipers, the exhaust tips, and to the tires, and also to the front spoiler and the rear diffuser. As Sid said an easy mod and was fun to do. Have not had a chance to do any driving yet as we had snow yesterday.

I had the Porsche Dealership (Livermore, CA) install 4 5mm wheel spacers and changed out the front turn indicators which are now clear.

Looks great. Did you upgrade your front pads to the GT3 size pads?
The standard size pads are fine and work great. I had the opportunity to speak to the Porsche expert at GiroDisc before I made my purchase. He informed me since the GiroDisc front rotors are 350mm versus the OEM 340mm, installing GT3 pads would cover the void. Here is a photo of the OEM 991 pad and Carbotech GT3 pad.

Thanks. One thing I did to my garage to facilitate working on my 911, Macan, or wife's X3, is to build/install a collapsable workbench. When I'm not working on cars it folds up against the wall, out of the way. The legs lock so the bench does not collapse when it is not supposed to. I bought a maple butcher block from Amazon for about $100. The rest of the pieces came from Lowes. My garage is not huge so this helps a bunch when I'm working.

I talked to Girodisc at length about the GT3 upgrade but decided for the kind of driving I am likely to do the 'standard' size is just fine, so I stayed with the stock size pads.

Much less dramatic, I installed this stuff.

The side markers were easiest. The raised console lid most complex, but best addition. The quad tips were super-easy. The license frames and rear lettering were pre-painted with Glasurit 0B5 to match the Satin Platinum wheels. All in all, fun.

Looking good! Where did you get the tips?
