We're working on adding all of the 991 NA maps to the website, they'll be up soon. Luckily, the Accessport ships with all of the OTS maps pre-loaded.

The POR-007 Accessport is $1295. You can definitely notice gains throughout the power band. The calibrations are slightly more aggressive than what is available from the factory but is still very reliable.

Thanks for the kind words! The Carrera S with X51 would work for developing maps for the power kit cars. Shoot us an email at porsche.experts@cobbtuning.com and we can discuss everything!

Thanks for the replay. As a former STI and GTR customer I'm very exited about this.

Have to ask and no disrespect meant but what makes this different than the Giac tune that is out there now for NA Porsche cars other than cost? I am very interested but would like more info.

I believe (but I could be wrong) that the GAIC tune is *not* available via (their) flashloader technology (this was what I was told by one of their dealers).

I think you also need to look at the other features of the accessport as a telemetry device.

I believe you are correct Larry on the Giac not being available via flash loader. I am very interested in this type of technology and possible gains? Sounds promising, I was headed the Giac route but will see if I can learn more about the CT option.

Also, GIAC has always been a very poor performer. I've had their tune and a COBB tune on a 335i, and COBB blows it out of the water.

Marshall, do you know what kind of power output we should expect from the GTS?

Cobb is simply the best when it comes to ECU tuning. I would not run anything else on my cars, this is based on my experience with my, 2 WRX STI's, 2 Legacy GT Wagons, and an '09 335i.

I was very disappointed that there wasn't anything for my F80 M3, or the 991, that is, until now.

that's a deal breaker for me with a car still under warranty (not too mention if/when they issue a reflash) the ability to return to stock and restore the tune
w/o taking the car in, or shipping the ECU is a big bonus OOTB.

I get that, although we dont know if the GTS has a different map OOTB from the powerkit car, either way a tune would hopefully equally optimize for the
engine itself

Someone get it already and let the rest of us know how it is!

Question... can I use other maps for other cars with this same device? If so, how does that work? Just download for the appropriate car and then flash?
