Clear bra, I'm impressed.
I highly suggest anyone with a new 991 or any other car for that matter install clear bra on the entire front. The pre-owned C4S I just purchased had it installed everywhere. The full hood entire bumper, Mirrors, Headlights, Above windshield and rear 1/4 panels. The car still looks brand new after 31,000 miles. 0 pitting on the headlights, No discoloration. I can see where it saved the hood and rear 1/4's from major damage too. Plus you can not see it at all, At least on Basalt Black. Hell, the dealer didn't even know it was on the car till they sent it to detail lol.
The McLaren does not have clearbra and has around the same amount of miles and there are small chips and pitting all over the front and the headlights are in bad shape too.

Yes! As mentioned many times the installer is more important than the film used. Make sure you find an independent that is very well reviewed and you have access to first hand references. And avoid the dealer!
As for cost, depends on your area, installer, and what material is used... I think I paid around $1500 for the full front clip + window tint but it can run anywhere from $1500-2000 or so, maybe more depending on what you get done.

I thought it was not safe to put clear bra on the 991's headlights, due to a delamination issue?

Probably depends on the installer, the product, etc. A lot of variables. Porsche Manual actually states something to the effect of covering the lamp housing may cause issue, but that is more likely to do with heat than lens issues. I've had two different PPFs on my headlights, and neither one caused any harm after a year on in the miserable PA weather extremes and spending time outside down at the shore....
Also, I believe there have been "delamination" cases where nothing had ever been applied to the lamp assembly!
YMMV

I would think this is the most important factor in choosing an installer as most high volume guys will be very competitive in pricing anyhow. Definitely ask to see their work in person if possible.
