Default Spacers as Stock on 2013 991??

Sorry for the uninformed question here. Are wheels spacers stock on the 2013 911 Carrera? I have 20" Carrera S wheels on my Carrera base, and wheels spacers front and back. Not sure if these are stock or not.

Thank you for your assistance here.

These are not OEM. Aftermarket.

The only OEM factory option are 5mm spacers all the way around.

My thoughts exactly. Buy the right wheels with the proper offset, not the
h u m u n g o u s spacer to make the wheel "work".

It looks as if he just bought the car and the spacers were already on there from the previous owner.

STG is exactly right. Spacers were there from the previous owner. So just added these wheels, sorry for the dreamy picture.

and suddenly was getting this result. Not good. Spacers coming off ASAP.

I have an '86 951 and this size spacers are not uncommon on that car, but glad to know my issue here.

Thanks to you all

Scott, nice looking car.

Keep in mind, you'll need new lug bolts if taking off the old spacers like you should with those new wheels.

I think you're the one selling the black Carrera S OEM wheels in the classifieds? They looked great from the quick look I took. You should post a link here. Someone might like them. I've always liked the black ones with the silver outer stripe.

Where are you located by the way?

Agree with you that the spacers don't work with those wheels, but you'd be amazed at how many people would think your car looks just right. There are a lot of Porsche owners who don't realize that sometimes a little is just right. Then again, to each his own.

Nice car and I'll bet it'll look great when you get those spacers off.

and general rule is that spacers weigh 1/2 a pound per 5 mm, so it looks like at least an extra 1 1/2 pounds of unsprung weight there

Those are aftermarket and too big for the stock suspensions set up. I went with the OEM Porsche recommended 5mm spacers and they are just flush with the fenders. With this set up they must protrude way beyond the wheel arches.....
