Where did you get your winter wheels?
Hi all,
I'm balking at the dealer-quoted $7K+ pricetag for an OEM winter wheel and tire set to match my existing wheels. Where did you get yours?
Thanks!

Try them:

Plus having a Black Friday sale with free shipping. Not sure if wheel sets are included. Make a deal with them.
Also posted info on Sunset Porsche in the "hot for sale" stickie. Call and ask for Luke to see what they have.
These sets come all ready to put on. OEM wheels and TPMS sensors as well. Can't go wrong.

Tire Rack.
Purchased 19 inch wheels for 991 with Sotozeros mounted, balanced, TPMS sensors installed, for approximately $2.5K in 2013.

I bought mine from Suncoast last March on sale; got this set for half price. I see they have some wheel sets on sale now. Perhaps you could pick up the wheels from them and get the tires from Tire Rack.
Option 2 would be to buy winter tires and have your dealer swap them onto your existing wheels. I was at my dealer yesterday to have my winter wheels put on and I saw a few sets of summer tires, sans wheels, headed to storage.

EBay, factory Porsche wheels are the best option IMHO!

Can you share what wheels those are and what the specs are?
I'm looking for an extra set of wheels for winter tires but am finding the standard 991 OEM wheels just too expensive. Perhaps the ones you have would be another option for me!

I have Tire Rack rims with Pirelli's that I bought from a local rennlister who had posted them on Ebay. Much cheaper than getting OEM's and I personally think they're great, plus I barely drive the car in winter anyways.

These are the 997 classics. They are 8x19F ET57 and 11x19R ET51. I have a C4s so these are very close in the back (51 vs 52) and I use 5mm spacers in front to be very close there too (52 vs 51). They are my favorite Porsche 911 wheel and so easy to clean in the winter. I have the N spec Pirelli Sottozeros in 235/40F and 295/35R. I like them a lot. Hope this helps. Note, the classics also come in narrow body ET which I believe is either 68 or 70 in the rear.
