Nice track video of 991.2 from inside the car. Doesn't sing as loud as 991.2 but still sounds ok as per my test drive.
Have a listen. No doubts comments will rage.

Hell, that sounded great to me. But from what I understand the sound is different (better) inside the car than outside. I'm not one to get everybody in town excited listening to my car. Or maybe I am.
I will be finding out in about 2 months as my 991.2 is on schedule for delivery in early/mid April.

Great video. It confirms for me want I have told myself from the beginning.... there are enough performance improvements on the .2 that I can live with a slightly different (to my ear) sound. I'll be flipping my 16 .1 for an 18 .2.

If you have PSE, go aftermarket. A Honda sounds like a Honda, and a Harely, well.... The potential, and the way the NA engine breathes is there. Utilize it Grasshopper. Or not, whatever you like! (: I wonder if the big 911 turbos sound close to the baby turbos. No pun intended. Just curious!

Would it not have to sound better on the outside to sound better on the inside. The sound in the cockpit has to come from somewhere. And it is the exhaust sound we are talking about, right? Exhaust sound comes from, well outside. And I am also not a fan of symposer.

The point is that I don't really care what other people hear when I drive by.....I just care about how my car makes me feel when I am at 5000 rpm with sport + and PSE engaged (again the only way I drive... )

I totally care what other people hear when I drive by. It is extremely pleasing to hear a great-sounding sports car drive by. Who among us doesn't turn his head and think, DAMN, that sounded good? I enjoy doing that service for my fellow citizens.
In fact, a neighbor 10 doors up from me drives by every morning in his Panny GTS with PSE switched on. There's a little neighborhood speed hump between our houses, and so I get to hear him slow down, cross the hump, and accelerate in front of my house. It's only at 25mph max but still that V8 sounds like da bomb! It is one of the reasons I decided to sell my Turbo and get a NA car last year.
So prosyletizing the unwashed masses is part of my mission here with PSE.
