Stopped by the dealership this morning and he car was just released and awaiting transport!!! Should be here in 1-2 days!!!
I was also surprised that the dealership had just received a 911 r. Very nice white with blue stripes. Can't believe that 2016 cars are still arriving in march 2017

So after 38 days in Davisville, the car finally arrived yesterday evening at the dealership 
Going to take a look after work today. Probably will pick up on Monday!!! Pics to follow.

First Porsche after 3 BMWs and 3 Mercs. Most similar would be 2007 SLK55.
The C2S has so much power. I found I had to keep my foot off the gas on the 400 highways - easily hits 140kmh without noticing. Significantly better drive than 2007 SLK55. Not sure if it's the 10 year gap or rear engine but the C2S just grips the road even in February. It's also a very comfy and quieter ride compared to the Boxster - I can definitely understand why some feel it's more a GT car, but that works for me.
I had initially negotiated a small discount on a 718 Boxster and the dealer was kind enough to leave that discount when I changed my order to a C2S.
